Installation Of Indoor Playground
Two Installation Solutions for Indoor Playgrounds
Generally, we offer two installation approaches: one is self-installation by the purchaser, and the other involves dispatching our professional engineers to assist with on-site installation. Which method is more suitable? This depends on your specific situation.
If your available space is limited and the design is relatively simple, we recommend self-installation. You can request detailed installation instructions or video tutorials from the supplier and complete the assembly by following the step-by-step instructions.
If your playground area is large (exceeding 100 square meters) and you lack experience in equipment installation, we recommend opting for our professional on-site installation service. The quality of installation directly impacts both the visual appeal and safety performance of the entire playground, making professional installation particularly important.
If you choose to install the equipment yourself, we will provide detailed guidance to assist you in completing the assembly smoothly. The play equipment consists of various components, and the installation steps may vary accordingly. We recommend following this sequence: begin with laying the floor mats and safety nets, followed by assembling the metal frames, then installing the play structures, and finally conducting a site cleanup.
Installation Procedure
The installation process for indoor playground equipment is similar to building a house: first, lay the safety floor mats across the entire area, followed by constructing the steel pipe framework. Taking this 100-square-meter five level play structure as an example, the design diagram clearly illustrates the structural layout of the first level, second level and ect, and the top steel pipes.
We use color coding to distinguish pipes of different lengths. It is recommended to sort and organize pipes of the same length first, as this will effectively improve installation efficiency. All steel pipe connections utilize specially designed connectors—we have pre-installed them on the corresponding pipes in advance. Please pay attention to the differences in color and shape of the connectors, as they play a critical role in assembling various play structures. As long as the connectors are correctly matched, the assembly of the steel pipe structure will be straightforward to complete.
laying the floor mat
Remove the surrounding strips of the floor mats and lock the two floor mats to each other according to their shapes,If the edge doesn’t fit, you need to cut the floor mat by yourself
Safety net and the EVA foam
The next step is to secure the safety net. This does not require any special techniques, but you will need to pull the net taut and fasten it firmly to ensure it remains flat and tightly stretched. After installing the net, cover the steel pipes with EVA foam. Then, based on the shapes of the connectors on the pipes, use a knife to cut the PVC covering into matching shapes. If there are any ropes wrapped around the galvanized pipes, make sure to cover them as well to ensure a neat appearance.Next, use cable ties to securely fasten the EVA foam covering.
Trampoline
The trampoline in this case measures 2.46m × 2.46m (standard size) and consists of four main components: the jumping mat, protective padding, steel frame, and springs. With the steel frame already assembled, the next step involves securing the jumping mat using the springs. This requires tightly stretching the mat in all four directions and securely attaching the spring hooks to the frame. Finally, place the protective padding over the springs—this padding not only enhances the overall appearance but, more importantly, provides effective protection for children in case of falls.
Tube slide or tunnel slide
First, secure the sliding barrel by fixing the screws into the designated screw holes. Second, attach the two dividers to the frame Finally, a few people are needed to lift the sliding barrel and secure it on the partition.
Ball Pool side , Sand pit side
First, arrange the edges properly, making sure they are aligned. Fix the clips on both sides to the end of each side. For edges over 40cm, you will need 4 clips. The fixing method is as shown in the picture.
Fiberglass slide
Compared to plastic slides, fiberglass slides are more popular among children. During installation, first drill a hole at the top section of the slide and secure it to the steel pipe frame. Adjacent slide components need to be securely fastened together with screws.
Conclusion
Whether you choose to install the indoor playground equipment yourself or with the assistance of our installers ensuring the safety of the play area remains the top priority. If you require further guidance on installation, please do not hesitate to contact our professional team.
